One bike, four friends, a thousand landscapes to explore and one destination: the sea.
BASTILLE teams up with La Trace for a springtime escape to Normandy.
Jeanne, Sybille, Robin, and Anthony rode the Bastille across every terrain and in all conditions.: folded into a lift, stowed on a train, unleashed on open roads, rattled over cobblestones, and pushed to its limits on sandy climbs and gravel trails.

"A true, comfortable bike that goes anywhere. It’s the kind of adventure that reminds me why I love riding so much.”

“It’s a smooth, well-balanced bike that’s a pleasure to ride. The finish is meticulous, the saddle is comfortable, and the overall feel is light and effortless.”

On the station platform, we folded the bikes in just 12 seconds flat — then rode off as if nothing had happened.
With the team, we covered 65 km to reach the charming château of Conteville. After crossing Normandy’s hedgerow-lined countryside, it was time to see the sea again the next day. From there, we followed the coast all the way to Dieppe.

“The Bastille has everything you need for adventure: large wheels, quality components, and above all, the ability to fold down easily so it can go wherever you do.”

“Remarkably stable and versatile across all terrains — I even enjoyed taking it off-road for a bit of gravel.”

“The Bastille is more than a folding bike — it carves, weaves, brakes, and responds with uncommon precision, whatever the terrain, wherever you take it.”
